TRAVEL TIPS

  When visiting San Andrés, you must respect the island’s environment and avoid using plastic bags. You should try the traditional dish  rondón , a seafood soup with coconut milk, and you have to use official taxis or rent a golf cart to move around safely. You might want to learn a few words in Creole to connect better with the locals. Also, you should book your tours in advance, as they are usually full, and you could stay near the  malecón  to save money on transportation.
